So, I have been working on a computer, and everything seems to be powering up, but no signal seems to be going to the monitor. I have tried plugging in the HDMI, VGA, and DVI, and nothing.Tried several other monitors as well. Any help/suggestions would be appreciated. Here are the specs:

Processor: i3 (until I'm able to update the BIOS) Then i5-3750
Mobo: ASUS P8Z68-V-LX INTEL Z68 ATX
Graphics: PNY XLR8 GEFORCE GTX 550TI
Monitor: ASUS Black 23.6" 5ms 1080P Widescreen LCD
RAM: standard 8 gig

Thanks.

If its booting up you'd get at least a single beep...
I'm concerned now that you only think its booting up when it really is just powering up peripherals. When you think its booted up, hit the windows key, then the right arrow key, and then enter. If it shuts down by itself then it was booted. if it doesn't then it never made it to the desktop

I said it is only powering up. Its not going to make it to the desktop, because its new and I don't have the OS installed yet. Can't get the screen to come up for the bios

There is a speaker, so we have come to the conclusion that the motherboard is bad. A new one will be shipped soon, and we shall see what happens. Thanks for everyones help, will repost if it works. :hello:
