I just bought three monitors to use for iracing and my hd 5450 cant produce the frames i want(50 fps would be awesome). Im a noob at computers and i got 500 to spend. I did some research and the 7970 looks suitable but the card need 500 to 600 watts and the cg1330 has one 450. I dont know what the good psu brands are and im lost. Whats a good psu i could use? and can i get the psu upgrade and graphics card to run iracing with three monitor at 50 fps all for under 500 bucks?

Without a good aftermarket power supply, you probably don't want to run a 7970 http://www.amd.com/us/products/des [...] 970.aspx#2

That link has a list of "certified" power supplies for the video card. But not to say other models or brands in the same class as the ones listed won't work.

Want to run 6970? Make sure you choose the right PSU. This is what you should get:

Maybe this is too much you think, but to be save, it's good.

How bout this one

And I also wanted to ask that how do I know this thing will fit in my computer

Yes that is good also.

I think you can put it normally, assuming that your case is a normal ATX one. These power supply are ATX so I think it will do well.

You pull out the cables of your old PSU, dismount your old PSU. Put in the new PSU, put in the GPU, Plug in the cables and you should be able to boot :).

Video Card. Graphics Processing Unit. Since they are so complex now, GPU is used a lot much like CPU for the main PC processor. And it's shorter to write. Unless someone asks what it is, then it takes longer to explain ;)

Sorry missed your post. GPU is Graphic processing Unit. It can be as a card form, can be at the APU chip, can be onboard in the chipset. People here will say GPU, because it's shorter and simpler. And they mostly refers to graphic card rather than anything else. I don't know why but you see...
