I bought a prebuilt Gateway FX6860-Ef10p and not sure if it's safe to play at max setting Crysis 3 or any highest end games out there currently with the power supply I have,:

750w
12v rail - 18A

Also have 2 case fans.

Specs:
intel core i7 2600 --- TDP?: 95 W
GTX 560 Ti ---- Min Power: 170w Max Power: 210
16gb ram
2Tb drive + 120Gb SSD

Thanx in advance for the help.

Being that the computer is made by Gateway the 750w PSU is most likely garbage. It will play at max settings but the question is for how long. It could last for 6 months or longer but you can bet that psu will not last like other major brands like corsair or seasonic

well not sure if it's a single rail, but positive on 18amps and said 12v. and if my power supply breaks or does not work can i replace it when my gateway has problems or when the power supply breaks does it destroy or corrupt my motherboard, cpu, and other components of the computer also.
and how do I know it's a single or multi rail where does it say. THNX for the replies so far guys.
Yea I have like 1 year warranty on it and 3 years from futureshop.

But again, can i replace my powersupply on my computer once it doesn't work anymore, I play Very High end games? So im worried. How can I keep the power supply to last longer, do I stop playing high end games?

Thnx in advance.

Post a picture of the power supply...18 amps on the 12V rail seems really low. Even my soon to be replaced 300 watt Bestec has 19 amps on the 12V.

I checked and poptaim is right. it has 30amp on the 3.3volt. its been a like 6 months and still working on most games. games that i played latest is batman arkham city and DMC which was released just on january 25th.

So...if poptaim is right, that means everything is fine?
