This will be my 2nd rig - already have a gaming rig - will update that next year

Since I am traveling this weekend I will be in a city with micro center and there i5-2500K and $50 off board combo was hard to pass up so i moved up to a I5 over the I3 for $5 more then the i3 and board on new egg where i usally go.

Also moved up to 6870 over 6850.

since I am not oc or adding another GPU (that i can forsee at this time) do i need anything xtra for cooling?

All commets helpful. hate returning something because I was to quick to click and buy.

hello op

the build you made is awesome and does not have any loop hole.

i think you are pro in making builds.

the only suggestion i can give is change the psu to this

it represents a modular cable desigh for 5 bucks more compaired in mail in rebate.

also sapphire is better than xfx as it provides a better customers service and better products with quality components and sometimes cheaper than xfx.

good luck for the build :D

download all the latest drivers for the motherboard and graphic card.

update the windows after install it an update it till you get message as "no updates available".

this will improve the performance of the build and keep your pc crash free.

That's a powerhouse system for just a media player. Check my HTPC specs in my signature for what I'm running.
