    hello op

the build you made is awesome and does not have any loop hole.

i think you are pro in making builds.

the only suggestion i can give is change the psu to this

it represents a modular cable desigh for 5 bucks more compaired in mail in rebate.

also sapphire is better than xfx as it provides a better customers service and better products with quality components and sometimes cheaper than xfx.

good luck for the build :D

download all the latest drivers for the motherboard and graphic card.

update the windows after install it an update it till you get message as "no updates available".

this will improve the performance of the build and keep your pc crash free.

  2. thanks I will take your advice. On Card and PSU.
  3. I would do this PSU over either of those choices:

Antec BP550 Plus 550W 80 PLUS Certified Modular Active PFC Power Supply - 64.99

Much more reliable than the OCZ while still providing you more than enough power and still being modular. ( comes with a free USB card reader also :) )

I love the case choice. I have the same case and it works very well.
  4. If you get that Antec case - make sure you either get V2 or you get the Antec 100 - both have better cable management than the original 300 does.

  5. That's a powerhouse system for just a media player. Check my HTPC specs in my signature for what I'm running.
