I have a 19 '' LG flatron with 1280 x 1024 resolution.
I just want the card to be able to run games like bf 3 at standard settings. Dont really care about maxing things out
Im planning on getting intel i5 quad 3.3 ghz and im on a pretty low budget. I found these two with good ratings but one has 2 gb and the other has better clock speed.

theres a 30 dollar difference and i was wondering if its not worth the extra money cuz its 1gb difference but with lower clock speeds.
Thanks.

Hey james,

The extra 1GB of VRAM will do nothing for you (and indeed isn't needed unless you are playing at resolutions above 1900x1280, which you have stated you won't be).

I have personal experience with Asus graphics cards and I can honestly say they are the best when it comes to quality.

Actually if you are thinking about getting a new monitor (say 1680x1050) this card is probably perfect for that resolution.
Otherwise you are probably better off getting a cheaper GPU (not 100%, but pretty sure this is the case).

I will defer to someone with more experience on lower end GPU's to suggest a good GPU that will do everything you want and none that you don't.
