Hi im worried about my cpu temps while gaming it goes up to 70c and over

my specs:

AMD FX-4100 Quad-Core stock cooler
Gigabyte M68MT-S2
8 gb ram
Sapphire AMD Radeon HD 6950 2gb overclocked ed

That's definitely really hot for an AMD CPU...Have you overclocked at all? How's your cable management? Also, is there a lot of dust build up?

I got it at the end of 2011 so kind of new i guess. The gpu is new i got that like a week ago.

Is there a dust in the CPU cooler? U can blow it out with compressed air in the can every now and than, when the PC is off.

about the temps.

i dont no because i never really look at temps till i got my ne gpu.

i had a hd 5570 before

Can u use this for your temps and run the Prime95?

And post the results - max temps from Coretemp?

just the intake fan on the side lol. im going to get a new case this week so no point in buying fans yet.

What are the max temps so far?

How long is it running?

The temps will start rising to high temp levels.

When in 80 degree mark, than exit the Prime95 by clicking in left upper corner on TEST and select exit.

Or it may run in the background : )

been running for about 40mins now and temps stayed around the 47/48c mark.

OK, the case is the problem.

When gaming, the GPU gets hot and makes temps rise in the case, and the CPU gets hotter as well and it has only one fan to get rid off the heat. Not enough.

The rear fan gets rid off the temp from the CPU area, but u don't have one, so the hot air gets stuck up there.

If u would get even one fan, it would be enough, I think.

But tell me, who made it without the rear case fan? Genius.

Don't take advice from that one : )

U can take the side fan and install it in the back.

haha ok well im going to to get a new cooler maserter case so hopefully that should solve my problem.
