hey all, been looking to upgrade my sammy syncmaster2494, with a higher res single monitor option. ive been reading reviews on the dell u2711 and people love em. there on for 699 on dell.ca now, all i use my desktop for is day to day browsing, and gaming, i just upgraded my old 5770 to a evga 570 2.5gb so that extra memory will help at the higher resolution, my main question is this, with ces just past is it worth it to wait on other companies offering other 27" monitors that would be better then the dell, or even dell coming out with the new year model. im totally ready to buy this monitor right away, but if there are gonna be other options a month down the road kinda thing ill wait as im in no rush. once kepler is finally out i will be stepping up to the new 570 equivalent providing its within the step up time frame, or adding another and going the sli route.
