yes cross fire will be capatible but hd 5670 will not be an good choice for cf you should get a single hd 6770 or hd 6850 it wil be more better then crossfiring that gpu.

Of the two the 5670 with GDDR5 is the best option. Really though I think it's better to spend a little more money on a 6770/5770.

Also, that motherboard is not ideal for crossfire since it's 16x/4x. You're better off with an 8x/8x motherboard that supports AM3+ CPUs so you have some future updatability (being optimistic that piledriver is better than bulldozer).

Not sure why you are trying to mix and match two different HD 5670 cards unless you already have one.

I would agree to go with a single HD 6770. There are some games that do not work with Crossfire.
