Is this a proposed build or are you looking to upgrade an existing one? If it's a proposed build it's completely pointless to go P55 anymore, if it's an existing build 8GB will be plenty and put the rest in a good GPU like the Radeon 7850 or 7870.

It's a proposed build that will be completed in a few weeks. I've been looking at EVGA Geforce 560 and 570 series and not sure which one to purchase. Is there a huge difference in performance between these series other than the price of $100 for FPS games?

I honestly wouldn't recommend either right now as it's really pointless to get the 560 and 570 when they will be replaced shortly with the 660 and 670 - the Radeon 7850 would be a better bet.

What resolution will you be gaming at?
Im on 1920x1080, and my Radeon 6950 is awesome, and i'd recommend it.

However, with the next series of cards rolling out for both nvidia and ATI, you might want to spend the extra cash and get a nice new card.

I'm also 1920 x 1080 on a 42" LED. I'm planning on getting a 7870 once my tax refund comes in.

The 7850 will probably be a better bet as the 6950 is in the process of being discontinued
