Reset what? If you want to reset BIOS completely, you can take the battery thingy on your motherboard (silver round shape) for couple minute and put it back on.

NOTE: Always turn off your PC and unplug power cable before you start doing this.

seems a over-resolution problem to me
means using the resolution which is not supported by monitor
