Blue Screen In Gaming

I have a problem...when i play a game called ''rusty hearts'' , there are these creatures that use ice attack when they use it my screen blinks(goes to desktop cmes to game goes back desktop) and pc restrts showing blue screen...is it because my onboard vga? (this also happens in heroes of newerth)

if i get a new 1 eg;- geforce 9800 gt

will it work with my pc? mine is a pci express 1..if not which vga to get and will it work with my CRT monitor(viewsonic e71f monitor)...my system is mentioned below...

i think its because u are using onboard video. you should have a physical video card for games.
this has happened to me in the past

Like greghome said, you better check out first before buying anything or taking another step I think...
