More about pentium
  1. With a P4, you will not be able to play any modern games on the highest settings.
  2. any of these cards will work.

But you cannot use highest settings in all games

    of those get
    sapphire hd 6750 1gb gddr5
    or
    inno3d gts 450 1gb ddr3
    as they support dx11

    but your cpu is bottleneck

I would say the 9800GT, you gonna hit a MAJOR CPU bottleneck.
  4. I recommend u should first upgrade your mobo to modern core 2 duo support mobo, then buy e6500. U can buy it about 60$, mobo 50$, then buy 9800gt
  5. You might rethink your up grade and start planning on a new rig. But if you are looking for a card that will work with your P4 CPU and 2GB of ram Then I would go with the 9800GT. Then later start buying your parts one at a time.

This way over time you will be up todate and you can reserch everything so you know what you are looking for. That is what I would do. But I am not you. I wish you the best of luck.
  6. a new pc (sandy bridge/ ivy bridge/ trinity or piledriver).
if you must stick with your current rig: radeon hd 5570 or radeon hd 6570 512/1 gb ddr3. it should be cheaper than the cards you listed.
with your current pc, you might hit cpu bottleneck with the gfx card you listed. you could get more performance from adding more ram.
  7. I'd buy the cheapest on since they are all going to have the exact same performance due to how old your cpu is.

A new PC would be much better tho.

    hd 6750 2gb ddr3
ok from those which is good for me and not bottleneck my computer?
    thanks

what is your psu's brand and model? how many amperes does your psu's +12v rail have?
none of the listed gfx cards will bottleneck your pc. it would be the opposite: your pc , mainly your processor will bottleneck all of these. if you must get one of these three, get the cheapest one.
i still think you should upgrade your whole pc or get a cheap radeon hd 5570/6570.

    mu psu brand is dany.
ane tell me from those graphic card
    sparkle 9800gt ddr3
    inno3d gts 250 ddr3
    hd 6750 2gb ddr3
which is not bottleneck my pc and works good?

i just told you. get the cheapest card if you must get one from the cards you listed.
none of the cards will bottleneck your pc.
your pc will bottleneck the cards because your pc is old.
you could save some money by getting a really cheap card for your current pc.

You should get the best card in your list. Don't worry about cpu bottleneck cause it will happen. If you get a card that will not bottleneck as a result of using old computer, then you just bought a gpu that is even older than your computer. Do you really want that? BTW, de5_roy who says ampere. Of all the friends that I went to school with and who still work in the electronics field, not one of them call it an ampere.
  13. P4 is junk
  14. The P4 isn't junk. There are a lot of people who use the P4. How ever I wouldn't want to use it for gaming on the new game's of today and with the new GPU's. It just wouldn't be able to keep up.

But you could use it for the games when it was the best CPU around back in the 90's. Win 95, 98, and 2000 the P4 was the best. We have come a long way in just a short time. Just look at all the stuff of today.
  15. P4 have netburst and Netburst archihture is so ancient for modern standart. And maybe p4 isnt junk but its so slow and have just 1 core
  16. I got the P4 And must say, its good for me? I got 1GB Nvidia 220 Graphics card, i don't know the price for that, but the P4 does play some modern games good! What like Team Fortress 2 on highest settings works perfect!

Team Fortress 2 is not a modern graphically-intense game. It runs on an older and very scalable engine, and the textures aren't highly detailed.

    +1

I had a 3.6 GHz Pentium 4 paired with an 8800GTS 320 for a while, and that card was pretty massively bottlenecked on the p4 (at 1080p no less!). My framerates doubled when I upgraded to an Athlon II x3 440!

Moral of the story: Don't waste your money upgrading an old p4 rig. At MOST, you should be dropping $50 on a GPU to put in it (e.g., something like a Radeon 6670).

You will be FAR better off saving some money and buying a modern rig. Even the most low end modern CPU will blow a p4 out of the water in terms of gaming.
  19. go with a gtx520 if you still need a gfx card
