It's time for an upgrade from my ancient AGP vid card, etc. I've got my hard drives and a 600w power supply already.

I'm using my computer mostly for gaming low end games but would like to move into this century with something that can handle newer games.

I need:
Vid Card
Mobo
Ram
CPU

I appreciate any advice! Feel free to mock my AGP card and living with the dinosaurs too.

Thanks for those responses! That helps a lot. I think I like the AMD setup better for what I need and cost wise.

No problem. imp! I imagined a low power gaming build would do as you requested. As mentioned before though, when you get the chance, buy a cheap HSF fan (around $20) so you can OC that Phenom to use its other 2 unlocked cores for better performance. Also, price wise, that build is great for a stable budget. 550 Ti by EVGA can play most modern games on some very nice settings. Once more, happy upgrade!
