I want to get a new graphics card as I currently play newer games like Skyrim on ultra at about 15 average fps and would like to boost it up to at least 30 fps. I am currently running a GTX 550ti 2gb 900mhz from EVGA and was wondering whether to get anothe 550ti and run it in sli, a Gtx 460 and overclock it or maybe a gtx 560ti

I have two GTX 550 Ti's in sli and I wish I had gone with the 560 Ti's instead. Both of mine came OC'd and on some games they are nice but if you want to play BF3, Skyrim, GTA etc you won't be able to max out your settings they just don't have the power to give.

As soon as I save up my money or wait for the Nvidia series or when the prices fall. I am going to change. I will bet I won't be able to sell my cards at all when the time comes. I will probley do a hand me down.

Get a 560 Ti. It costs slightly less, will have lower power consumption, and has twice the GPU silicon so the performance will be slightly better due to less than 1:1 scaling with the SLI setup.
