About two weeks ago I built a gaming computer using the [ XFX Double D HD-687A-ZDFC Radeon HD 6870 ] as my graphics card. Its been great so far, but a few times a day. the screen randomly goes black for a few seconds. This could be while I'm playing a game, writing in openoffice, or just using my browser. I'm currently using Windows XP. When this happens only the screen stops, and I can still hear sound. Does anyone have any idea why this could be happening? Its not too big of a deal. Only a minor annoyance every now and then. But could this be signs of a hardware problem? Here's what my system is composed of:

[Motherboard]: ASUS M5A99X EVO

I replaced my DVI cable and now all is well. If your having this problem try changing the cable it might save you some money. :)

I set the GPU clock in Vision control center to 950 Mhz instead of 900. That has seemed to solve it so far.
