Looking for a Headset (Don't know where to post this)

I am looking for a headset to replace my Sony Wireless PS3 Headset.
The headset sounds rather good on the PS3, but is rather lacking in the PC department.
So I am going to sell that headset and get another one. Currently I need another set of
headphones for a tablet, so if it uses a standard audio jack that would be great.

Here is my main question: What is the difference between these two headsets?
I am rather interested in the SteelSeries Siberia V2 because it can be had for pretty cheap at this time, and it got great reviews.
Problem is there is a SteelSeries Siberia V2 and a SteelSeries V2 for the PS3.

I would like the sound quality to be the same on the PS3 and PC (unlike my current headset), so I am a little worried about buying the V2 for PS3 version. http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-SteelSeries-Siberia-V2-Full-Size-Headset-for-PS3-PN-61266-Xbox-Mac-PC-/150781805469?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item231b4bc39d#ht_3747wt_1396

Well how muc are you looking to spend?, Logitech makes darn good PS3 wireless headset.

the difference between the ones you posted is one is Strictly for PC, and the other is made of PS3, XBOX and PC. so you want the second one. Since its gonna work around the board.

Sound quality depends on the quality of the speakers and the drivers..... a USB headset is becoming the new thing. Although most headsets still run off of Mic/Head phone jacks.

If you want PC and PS3.... that is the best deal i see so far

No more than $100 for the price, and if that much it would have to work with tablets and other headphone jack items.
The main reason the SteelSeries Siberia V2 appealed to me was that it has a rather expensive MSRP, but can often be had for $40-$70

Most of my gaming will probably be on PC now, but I still want a headset that is good and works on the PS3 as well.

NOTE: I sort of want to get away from USB. My Sony Wireless PS3 headset uses it and it really cuts down on its uses.
That is one reason the audio jack was looking like an attractive alternative.
