I really enjoy having heavy Aluminum cases. One of my current cases is a Zalman Fatality Case

I am not sure how to find other cases like this. I was hoping someone would be able to point me in the right direction. I would like a case like this that has USB 3 and more hard drive slots. Thank you for your time.

Kind Regards,

I have never seen a Lian Li that is 5mm thick Aluminum. Infact the only Lian Li I had seen looked incredibly poorly made. This was 2 years ago, so perhaps they have changed some since 2001.

None of those cases are anywhere near solid aluminum. They are all the cheeply made flimsy case. I am talking about 4+mm thick aluminum.

you sound very ignorant... the Cosmos and TJ07 are very high end not cheap flimsy cases. Neither is the Level 10, but I'm not including that because it's made of SECC Steel not Aluminum... you don't need 5mm thick aluminum to provide a strong wall... If you want a case with 5mm thick aluminum like your precious fatality case I suggest you get down to harbor freight, pick up some good tools, and build it yourself.

amazingly high end cases if you decide to get over the 5mm crap

If you like the looks of an Apple case and don't need rad looks as if it were something from a military experiment, I would recommend trying a MacPro or an old PowerMac case. They are designed spectacularly and are built well. I can't say much about the newer MacPro but I do have a PowerMac case which I am going to use for a build. Straight up, things don't match up so you would have to some custom mounting, which I don't mind. Since the MB back panel (with all the ports) doesn't really match the case you'd have to cut out/replace that area of the case or some mods I've seem keep the MB away from the back side then they run short cables from the MB to the oem ports on the case. I know; it may sound a bit hokey but what it really build down to is whether you're a tinkerer or not and if you're have the resolve to modify one of the most (arguably) revered OEM cases in the world. Let's face it; you never hear of anyone actually saying how much they drool over a certain HP, Toshiba or Dell?

If you're still reading this here's a tip...If you have the option of either a MacPro or an old PowerMac case then I would go for the MacPro case. It has two optical drive bays as well as four screwless hdd bays whereas the PowerMac has one optical bay (not a big deal) but only two screwless hdd bays. Both cases have a super nice latched side door and plenty of screened surfaces. There are some really cool Apple case mods you can google.

I have the older PowerMac case but I'm seriously thinking of picking up a MacPro case; I think it'd be worth it. Just for nostalgia I might even try to re-use the LC from my old dual socket PowerMac.

Someone asks for a specific product and because its not what you like its ignorant? You lack of manners is only exceeded by your lack of manners.
