What will perform better, a ati hd5750 1gb with gddr5 or a ati Radeon hd6570 1gb with ddr3. I think option two will because of it's higher speed but option one has faster ram.

wow! that's a huge difference, it's like 50% worse then then the hd 5750. I'm basically looking for a budget card to replace my on board graphics so i can play games like dead island and gta iv. I now have the choice between hd6670 ddr3 and hd 5750 gddr5 but the price difference is $50. The hd5750 is looking a lot better tho.

hwcompare only compares theoratical data. benchmark reviews are better than spec comparison.

i only linked one game's performance. look through the whole review. 5750 should be okay for gta iv. you'd need a good quad core cpu to run it.

My friend runs gta iv on max setting with a core 2 duo e6750 which is what i have and he has a ati hd 5750. I had a look on youtube at battlefield 3 max settings being played on a hd 6670 ddr3 and it was getting 30-45 fps which is only slightly less then the hd5750 gets

was the 6670 oc'ed?

anyhow...bottom line is how much a few fps is worth to you...if the $50 difference is a huge deal then get the 6670 but remember you'll probably regret not spending the extra every time your game lags on you...lol...good luck :)

I just picked up from my local computer shop a Sapphire Radeon HD 6670 for $110, it works really good. Very happy i chose it instead of the ddr3 card
