Already have Z68 mobo, I5 2500K vs I5 3570K for same price?

I don't know a lot about building computers but after asking around a bit I decided that I would buy the ASROCK Z68 Extreme3 Gen3 Mobo (which I now have) with a I5 2500K processor,(which I do not yet have)

I was looking around on the NCIX website when I noticed that the I5 3570K processor is the same price as the I5 2500K at $219.

Since I have the Z68 motherboard, should I stick with the original plan and get the I5 2500K, or would there be any advantage to having the I5 3570K on the Z68 Gen3? Like I said, price is not an issue because they are both the same price for now.

2500K, the Z68 would need a BIOS update in order to support the 3570K.

Just get the 2500k. The Ivy Bridges can run on the z68 but you will need to flash the motherboard BIOS to make it compatible.
