Can a graphics card be added to hp pavillion d4 with i5 processor

It certainly has the processing power, but it will all come down to what the power supply is like in it. Better cards need a lot more power, so if you did decide to get a good graphics card then its possible that you will have to get a better power supply.

Something like this would be able to handle a good card. Its also important to get a good branded power supply as they power your whole system nd you don't want it giving you variable power.
