1) Is the monitor powered on?

2) Many monitors have a source input selector. Is your's switched to the connector that comes from the graphics card?

Please check again everything, for some new builders they sometimes forget to put the cables, for the front panel, the power, etc. Please make sure you got that right. Hope this helps and good Luck :) .
