Swapping from an intel to an amd pc

I have an amd phenom 1100t black edition, and all my other components in my build are compatible with Intel boards, so in theory would i just have to swap the motherboard and the processor, for an Intel motherboard and processor, and no other configurations would be needed?

and yes that is correct just make sure you'd have enough dimms for your ram make sure the frequency is supported and such
