Hey all,
I'm looking to buy a new PC which will last for around 3-4 years at least,
in a budget of about 1000$ (+-200$ or so)

I'de like to buy it ASAP,
I'll use it mostly for games and internet.
I've already got the keyboard, mouse and OS

I'm not sure yet about the overclooking option. Does it damage the CPU\mobo in any way? Will it make them last any less?

Parts I don't need are:
CPU - I've got the i7-2700k for a very cheap price, so I'll go for that cpu. I know the "k" is for OC, but I've got it in a cheaper price than the simple 2700:

I'll also go for ssd 180GB (in addition to anoter HDD):
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

The both of them will be a total of 370$ that will be part of the total cost, which means i'm down to around 700$ for all other parts.
I can also get an Intel's mobo for very cheap, but I've read they are very low quality and should be avoided.. Or aren't they..?

I'de also like a monitor, which will be besides the computer budget for about 300$.
I thought about:

What do you guys think?
What graphichs card, cooling system, RAM and mobo Ishould go for?

Ssd are very costly and 180 gb seems overkill

save some money ang go with 120gb . if you are getting that ssd in cheap then get it.

In 700 dolars you could get

asrock z68 extreme3 gen3
cm hyper 212 evo
corsair vengence 2x4 gb 1600mhz ddr3
sapphire hd 7970 3gb
Seagate baracuda 1 tb 7200rpm hdd
pc power and cooling silencer mkii 950w 80+ silver
Corsair carbide 500 white

if the gpu is not fitting in your budget then down grade to hd 7950 or 7870

also if getting hd7870 down grade the psu to 750w model.

But recommendation is to go with hd 7970

for monitor

asus , dell, acer makes good monitor

+1 apart from the gpu.
For $50 less, you can buy the cheaper, less hot, less power consumption and better performer GTX680 :p . No point suggesting 7970 anymore (for games as dmovsho asked).

Sorry there is a reason I pointed GTX680 too :D , I thought about the availability of newegg but op never clarified that he/she will buy only from newegg. There are available on some other shops.

Thanks for the answers so soon!

serialkiller - Yeah, I do get the ssd cheap enough as it makes almost no difference between the 180 and 120

Memnarchon - Yep, you're right. there is no 2700 :)
I meant I get it cheaper than the simpler ones

Can anyone explain the difference between the mobo
asrock z68 extreme3 gen3
and
Gigabyte GA-Z68AP-D3
I kinda got lost in there and couldn't really find anything real

About the graphics card - the gtx680 really is unavailable. Is it supposed to change sometime soon? Is there a reason for it?
If not, is the sapphire 7970 next best choice on that budget?
And is there a really big difference for the sapphire 7870, which is 150$ cheaper than the gtx 680 (and almost 300$ than the 7970)?
