Wireless connection!!

Hello,

I am a laptop rookie. I have an Advent 7039 laptop and I am in the process of receiving wireless router from an approved source.
What does my laptop need to support the wireless router?

once you get your router setup the wireless security. WPA2 would be the preferred wireless mode.

then make sure the wireless network card on your laptop is enabled, browse for available wireless networks, click on your network, and when prompted enter the wireless password.
