IVB+ PCI 3.0 GPU?

Hi, I just bought a ivy bridge cpu that was bundled with a z77 motherboard. I'm simply wondering should i invest in a PCI 3.0 graphics card to take advantage of ivy bridge in order to trigger a faster response between the cpu and the gpu. I heard its irrelevant as of today but it may change for the better in the future? I'm thinking of either a 7850 or a GTX 670 ( both PCI 3.0) over crossfire 6850s ( PCI 2.0). I will be playing games like D3, GW2, BF3..etc.

My rig:
CPU: Core i5 3570k
Motherboard: MSI z77A-G43
GPU: Sapphire 6850 1 gb ( looking to upgrade)
Memory: 4 gb @ 1333
PSU: Cooler Master 650W
Case: Cooler master HAF 922M

Yeah, 3.0 is irrelevant for a single card setup (and even dual, most of the time) right now, but don't let that stop you from getting whatever card(s) you want.

My own choice would be the 670, though.

Lol a 7850 and a 670 aren't really in the same price range though. If those are your choices, obviously the more expensive card has the better performance

Well considering i just got the motherboard, i want to hold on to it for like 2-5 years maybe. But i heard disappointing reviews on its over clocking ability though.
