I need serious help! (once again...)

I really don't know which GPU to get.

There is the:
-XFX Radeon HD 6870 ($150/normally $190)
-PNY GTX 560 Ti ($185/normally $260)

What I'm asking is, will the 560 Ti worth $35 more for the games I'm playing:
-COD
-Battlefield
-Crysis

A lot of games like that... will it really increase my performance?
Thank you :) ;) !

More about help once again
  1. What resolution?
  2. I think its worth it but I don't like PNY. you are looking at a 10-15% improvement with a 560ti over a 6870.
  3. I will be playing at 720p (my 47" TV)... I don't know what that is. High? Medium?

Why don't you like PNY? They have a lifetime warranty which I like :) .

And also, say I got a 6870 and didn't like the performance as much.
    Would a 6870 + 6850 out perform a 6970?

My friend had a PYN 460 which overheated like crazy. I think he got it replaced and was still hot.

yes a 6870+6850 will out perform a 6970 but I'd suggest not using 2 different cards for crossfirex as the performance gets even more jumpy than normal crossfire.

    Okay...
    I'll get a 6870, and then if I need to upgrade, I will :) .
Thanks for your help ;) .

    According to this:
    http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/330?vs=290
the 6870 out performs the 560 Ti in like 10%-20% in games, and is close in like 60% of the games.

So, if I do want to upgrade, get another 6870 or what?
  6. just a note: but XFX also has a lifetime warranty
  7. yes you should get 2 6870s when you want more performance.

if you get a 6850+6870, the 6870 gets lower to perform like the the 6850 but since they aren't equal things often screw up and give you studdery results.

  9. Thank you guys :) !
I think I'll get the 6870 and see if I need more performance over a year or two.
