Please I really need to know because this question is really haunting me  

Power supplies and small factor pcs both come in a range of sizes. So it depends.

ok but say the size is different but the cable is long enough to connect will it work?

and in answer to your last question, many will be reluctant to give you a definative answer without knowing more details, like what are the psu's, make, model, what you're trying to do with them, just to name a few.

We need to know the model number of the PSU and the PC components that you want to power with the PSU. If the PSU is ATX12V and the PC components are ATX12V then the PSU will have the proper connector and be able to power the PC...even if it won't phsically fit inside the case.

I don't recommend having the PSU sit on the desk next to an open case while you're on the computer...bad idea.

So it would have to be the right model to work inside the pc??

In your case it's more about whether or not the PSU will physically FIT more than whether it will work.
