Intel G850 and 8800GTS work together

Like the title says I finally upgrading after about 10 years and wanted to know if the 8800gts will work as a discrete video card on a G850?

Yes, every LGA 1155 board that supports the G850 will have a PCIE X16 slot for the 8800GTS.

Pretty much any board with a PCI-E slot will work with most if not all PCI-E cards such as your 8800.
