Do HP's uses ATX/Micro ATX standards

You might have seen earlier where I was asking about an old Compaq S4300 NX that was given to me. As I said in the other thread I plan on using it as a back up. The thing I don’t like about it is the case. It’s small and crowded and doesn’t have great air flow. What I wanted to know is did HP use standard ATX/Micro ATX standards? I know Dell used a proprietary mounting setup and I didn’t know if HP did the same. I really don’t want to get another board for a socket 775 CPU.

I had a similar model Compaq Presario and like you I didn’t like how the PATA cables and power cables blocked all the air flow. I took out the motherboard which was a standard micro ATX board and transferred it into a Thermaltake case (I think it was Thermaltake.) Anyway yes those old Compaq used standard ATX mountings
