Revised from previous post

Let me know what you guys think, your advice is much appreciated!

I'm trying to get down to 600 dollars but as of now this will have to do. I like that in the future I can upgrade to am3+. It seems that LoL, WoW, and Diablo 3 should run fine with this.

Pretty decent budget builder for sure. I seem to be having problems with Newegg loading, honestly I would stay with the Phenom, but once newegg starts working, I'll see what can be trimmed.

Off the top of my head, I think you can go with slightly cheaper RAM and still have 8GB.

Edit: Tis working now I see, your links have issues.

RAM save 14 dollars for same performance http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231314

I would stick with 1600mhz rated RAM if you plan to overclock. At 4.0GHZ on my system, my RAM is running at 1485mhz. If you don't plan on overclocking, you can step down to 1333mhz. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820220557 That would trim 20 bucks.

PSU- CX500 should be enough Save 10 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139027

Video card- Same card, trim another 10 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814161384

If you want to do a Phenom II build, I wouldn't trim anything else.

Not really no. Neither of them are factory overclocked, so theres no difference in core clock speeds, both are competent manufacturers, they should perform identically.

Unless I'm unable to view it, all I see are comments. I'm assuming its recommending an i3 though.

I'm of the opinion as it stands now, software is behind hardware technology. (Hell a lot of software is still only 32 bit, including most web browsers) As we progress, software is going to be written more and more to favor quad core CPUs. For that reason, despite how good an i3 is for a dual core, a proper quad is the way to go for a well balanced system on a budget. [/opinion]

Edit: by proper I mean 4 physical cores, Intel i3s and AMD Bulldozers "pretend" to have more cores than they actually do, granted Sandy Bridge is a lot better at playing make believe, but the 965BE still smokes it in a lot of scenarios.
