i'm currently running an amd 1100t x6 black edition, and 2 radeon 6950's overclocked to 900 core clock, and 1325 memory clock, and i was wondering if i would see any real performance benefits, if i upgraded to an intel 3770k, with a new intel board ofcourse.

P.S.
im not too fussed about the cost of it, also i was wondering would my gskill ripjaw ram that apparently fits into Intel LGA1156 sockets aswell as amd, fit into most z77 intel boards.

yea you'd see an improvement, sell me your 1100t lol. Honestly the 1100t is still a good CPU. Shoot, if you had a 990fx chipset then you'd be set for at least another 2 years before it will start 60% bottlenecking anything. I actually am in the market for a 1100t or 1090t. What motherboard do you have?

From the link SC2 would be the only game you'd see a real benefit to. Yes the Intel machine is faster, but both are either already over 60FPS or more or less tie. SC2 is the only game where the AMD machine is under 60FPS and the Intel is faster. For me I would say not worth it. (unless you are a big SC2 fan or you have a 120hz monitor.)
