Get I5 2500K or wait for Ivy Bridge

I was wondering if I should get a I3 2120 and get a 6870 or get a I5 2500k and get something like a 6770 or 550ti? I am getting a Gigabyte Z68AP-D3 so I should be alright for IVY BRIDGE Right?

Get the i3 and 6870. It beats almost all of the AMD CPU's, and it will perform great in games.

Even the Pentium G620 beats the FX-8150.

But if you're gonna upgrade already you should just wait otherwise your CPU will be sitting in a box collecting dust.

get the higher graphics! my i3-2120 doesn't even come close to bottlenecking my 550ti even at low resolutions.

That's never a good way to go - buy one and be done with it. I'm never a fan of buying the same part twice.
