Power to chassis fans.

I have an Antec v3 1200 case which has 6 fans in, but a motherboard that only has four slots for fans (one is for the fan for the cpu). Is there an adapter that can power three pin fan connectors, as there are no connectors left to power the remaining three fans.

  1. Either that, or you can take a look at this:
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Startech-inch-Power-Splitter-Cable/dp/B002DY7M1G/ref=dp_cp_ob_computers_title_2/278-2560538-3670545

This'll allow the mobo to control the speed.
  2. You could always get a fan controller that fits into one of the drive bays. Just do a search on amazon or newegg for "fan controller" and see if that's an option.
  3. I agree, just get a 6 channel fan controller that would go to your Drive bay and control the fans from there. It looks good on your case also.
