Hello guys ,

I have ordered for a 5570 HD .

But I am doubtful whether my mobo will run it .

My mobo is asus p5gc-mx/1333

Here is the specs of my mobo :-

PCI Express is the latest I/O interconnect technology that will replace the existing PCI. With a bus bandwidth 4 times higher than that of AGP 8X interface, PCI Express x16 bus performs much better than AGP 8X in applications such as 3D gaming. PCI Express x1 and x4 also outperforms PCI interface with its exceptional high bandwidth. The high speed PCI Express interface creates new usages on desktop PCs e.g., Gigabit LAN, 1394b, and high-speed RAID systems.

I think it's pcie 1.0 version .

Will 5570 which pcie expresss 2.1 work on my motherboard ?

Please help me

PCI-E is forward and backward compatible so it should work. However, some 1.0 mobo's don't play nice with 2.1 cards, but they should. But since you have it ordered, I say don't worry about it, chances are it will work just fine. If you are worried about speed, well a 5570 can't saturate a PCIe 1 x16 link so you'll be fine. :)

Can I upgrade it by flashing with the latest bios release ?

No. Its forward and backward compatible like USB 2 and USB 3 are. 3 is faster but you can stick in in a USB 2 slot and it will work, just at a slower speed. You can't make the USB 2 slot a USB 3 slot though.
