Alienware M11x 335m gpu problems

Forum Graphics & Displays : Graphics Cards Alienware M11x 335m gpu problems

Word :    Username :

So I recently updated my graphics card driver for my m11x (The GPU for this

card is a 335m nvdia). After I updated my drivers the video card "could not be

found" I check my Device manager and it was still there under the Display tab

it looked like this (Display adapters-Mobile intel 4 series Express chipset

family-NVDIA GeForce GT 33M). Also the intel 4 series E.chipset under the

display adapter tab had a "!" mark by it. It said the drivers were not

working.

Overall my problem is the gpu isn't being reconized and I cant use my GPU,

I currently believe that my CPU is running the graphics on my computer.

Some facts that may help
Screen saver wont work
Resolution stuck at 800x600 and 1024x768
can't connect hdmi display (havent tried dvi)
updated my cpu driver, audio driver, and gpu driver at dell
tried updating driver at nvdia to the 285.62 win7 64bit version still nothing
computer won't sleep

Please help if any more info is needed please reply. :p
