Planning on getting a great case next month. I'm currently rocking a Silverstone FT02-W, which I'll be giving to my wife when I get my new case. Here are the conditions I'm wanting with my new build:

1) It's got to be an upgrade from the FT02...why get something new if it's not better?

2) I want quad sli capable with another port for soundcard...so 9+ slots?

3) I want to have at least a 240mm area for a h100, or other like cooler (Not into the idea of making a custom loop)

4) Great, great vga air cooling

5) I love size, and I love high build quality. I'm open to the mix of materials such as the Cosmos 2, but the build quality has to be great and remember, it has to be an upgrade from the FT02.

I like the 800d, but seems like it's better for liquid, and not enough for multi gpu on air. I also love all silverstone cases, and I'm leaning away from Lian Li because of the possibility of vibrating, light metal, though I love their looks.

Please, lets have a discussion and give me some great recommendations! I want the ultimate case, outside of the $650 TJ11 (Would get, but way too much for me at the present time, though I'm open to sub $400)

I ask for a nicer case than a Silverstone FT02, a beast of an all metal case with amazing air cooling in combination of exceptional material and build quality, and am referred to a loud, plastic, albeit good for it's price, case from Rosewill? Thanks for the idea, but I am definately wanting something higher quality than a plastic Rosewill, though I admit it's features are great for it's price.

I'm checking out the Caselabs cases, but they only have one case in my price range, two if I really stretch what I want to budget. Are there some benchmarks onling for the m8 or m10? How is the airflow? Remember, it has to have great vga cooling.

Amuffin, thanks for the reference to caselabs. They have some really nice stuff, but I'm thinking I will need to keep below the cost of a Cosmos 2. After options, those caselabs cases would be at least $500 for me, which is just too much.

Can you guys recommend anything other than the cosmos 2 under it's price range? Is there nothing comparable or perhaps better in some way around the same price? Or am I just going to go with the cosmos 2?

Thanks a lot! Those cases are a lot more of the recomendations I was thinking about. I heard the tj07 isn't that great for air cooling. Can anybody share experiences with that case?

Another vote for the NZXT Switch 810.

Seems a really well sorted case - with water cooling in mind.
Just happened to have watched this review the other day by tinytomlogan - does some very thorough reviews and in this one covers the water cooling aspect in some detail:

Also now comes in a really nice Gun Metal Grey colour now :)
