Will battlefield 3 run on ati radeon 6950 hd graphic card smoothly

hello . i willbe purchasing xfx ati radeon hd 2gb graphic card so i want to ask whether battlefield 3 will run smoothly on it ? pls do reply

Depends on resolution and CPU. You should be able to do High settings (no AA) at 40-60FPS on a 1080p screen.

my cpu consists of:
intel core i3 processor
8 gb ram
dh 55 tc motherboard
and the screen resolution is set to 1152 x 852 @ 60hz

oh yeah. As long as the CPU doesn't bottleneck things (which it might) you'll be justttt fine.

I have an HD 5850 1GB, and I get fine performance on high (not max) settings on a 1680x1050 monitor.

I have a core i5-2500k CPU, but other than that, my system is comparable to yours (besides the GPU, obviously). It's possible that your CPU will bottleneck you, but I think it's unlikely. You should be good to go.
