A friend just gave me an Alienware m15X (He recently built a computer and no longer needs it.

It has a Core 2 Duo processor at 2.2 GHz and (I think) a GeForce 8600m. I have another friend who said he could upgrade the processor and video card. Can anyone tell me what the best processor and graphics card to choose would be? (for about 700, if possible)

I also want to upgrade the laptop with 8GB of DDR3 RAM, would this be okay?
