ATX 2x2 power burned

Hello, my Atx 2x2 4 pin power always burns ,I and reconnected it with new wires all the time, it burns so whats is the problem ??what is the use of this 2x2 power ??

4 pin peripheral power cable
Floppy drive power cable
20+4 pin ATX main power cable ... 4pin only (old PSU)
4 pin ATX +12 volt power cable .. for mobo power

The 4 pin connector provides power to your CPU. If it burned once it is time to replace both the PSU and motherboard, if it burned more than once its time to get in your car and drive to the store to get them today.


Can you provide a picture of the burn? Also what power supply do you have?
