Not sure if this is the right category to be posting in, but I was wondering if it would be possible to connect a home built PC to a car dvd screen.

I currently have this DVD player in my car: Ripspeed DV720

and i was thinking of building another pc, this time in MicroATX form, to fit in the glove compartment, but would it be possible to utilize the screen on that dvd player as a monitor for that PC, and if so, how?

If it is possible, would the touch screen be used for control of the PC?

yes, this has been around for a while: There are even dedicated "carputer" shops like Your current screen isn't suitable though.

Thanks for your reply. I don't think I was completely clear. I know you can connect PCs to screens in cars, my question would it possible with the specific screen that I have, and a bit of rewiring?

Ah, sorry. Yes, I think you could connect the screen as a display but you couldn't use the touch screen.
