ok, so, when im playing a game my laptop screen will go black then drop to my desktop and the in random places on the screen i get what looks like...if you try and rip a protected dvd and you get that pixelation all over the place. its not the entire screen but just parts of it. its very weird. it does it in grafic intesive games i.e. BF3, Fuel, BC2. ect. i have reinstalled win 7 and it still does it.
i have the Asus G73w. HD 5800 2GB. i7 1.7Ghz and 6GB system ram.
i am getting quite anoyed by this and i want it to stop.

Launch it, start playing a game. When it happens, report your processor and graphics card highest temperatures. It's probably a heat issue.

That CPU temp is really high, but the GPU temp is fine.
You probably need to clean the CPU heat sink out. The best way is to remove the cover on the bottom of the laptop and blow the dust out with a compressed air duster. If you can't get the cover off, blasting it with bursts of compressed air should do the trick, but it will also probably blast the dust around inside the laptop.
