I'm trying to put a corsair cx600 into my dell xps 8300, but when matching up the cords I noticed that the dell has a 4 pronged pwr2....but there's no cords on the cx600 with 4 slots.

Here's a link to the dell website with the documentation of what I'm looking at. It's the number one: the power connector (pwr2)

The Corsair has a 4+4 might look like an 8pin but splits in the middle, you use half of it. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

I see that one now, does it split in half...or do I leave it as it is and just plug in one side?
