System is hanging again & again

Hello,
All Tech experts My system is hanging again and again with distortion of graphics and When I restart the PC it says launch startup repair.

I've done startup repair several times but it have no effect on my computer.

Last time when I made a startup repair then It said: Windows cannot repair your system automatically
and give me 2 options: Send this info & Don't send.


Please help.....I'm messing up with this huge problem.....

and With this M DVD writer is also not working it does not read any DVDs
please help.......

You don't give us much to go on. Pre-built, home built, CPU, motherboard, onboard/discrete video, etc? But the first thing I'd recommend is a good cleaning of the system of junk files and resource wasting crap and registry errors. Download and run CCleaner. Do the Clean and Registry both. You may have to run it more than once until it can't find any more errors. Start with that and let's see how we are doing...

We need to know more, What Operating System, CPU anything as suggested above, we can't help with a lack of information.

Even if its not related to this problem, give us the specs of your system, you never know.

my system is hanging aftr a while & i am not able to ply games at all

Top of my head, unplug the DVD for awhile.

Let the computer boot a few times without it.

When your comp boots properly, THEN plug in the DVD and see what happens.

Windows (no matter the version) is finicky and sensitive.

Get Windows running right before you compound the problem with a DVD drive.

One thing at a time.

In addition to my suggestion above, I would also advise uninstalling the graphic driver, then running Driver Sweeper from Safe Mode. Have DS remove any Nvidia, AMD, ATI graphic driver remnants it finds. Re-boot and install the latest driver for your card and O/S.
