So you don't need OS, case, HDD, optical drive?

That is correct. My son's computer died and I am standing up a new system. I already have a 1TB hard drive, Vista , optical drive and case that I would like to reuse.

Get the Intel Pentium. It's cheaper than the AMD, and performs better.
