So you don't need OS, case, HDD, optical drive?

That is correct. My son's computer died and I am standing up a new system. I already have a 1TB hard drive, Vista :( , optical drive and case that I would like to reuse.

CPU: Intel Pentium G840 Sandy Bridge 2.8GHz (use stock fan for cooling) - $85

Motherboard: MSI H67A-G43 LGA1155 H67 SATA 6GB/s USB 3 - $63 (it has an open box, but usually a motherboard s good as this would cost a lot more, and it's still new)

Graphics Card: MSI Hawk Radeon 5770 1GB GDDR5 w/ FREE DIRT3 COUPON - $114 w/MIR $100

RAM: G.Skill NS 4GB (2X2GB) - $23

PSU: Corsair Builder Series 80Plus CX430 V2 - $45 w/MIR $35

The total comes to $306 w/MIR but it will be a great system for your son and will play newer games, and will get a free coupon for the DIRT3 game!
