560Ti 448 or 6950 2GB?

Hey guys

stuck between getting either one of these two cards:

Zotac GTX 560 Ti 448 Core --> £175

Powercolor Radeon HD 6950 2GB --> £165

Any thoughts?

    I would go with the 6950, its a tad bit faster. But they are both pretty much within 5$ of each other.
  2. Between these 2 choices I would go with the 6950 because it has more Vram which in games like Skyrim and BF3 makes a difference.
  3. just an update - i'm actually choosing between:

    HIS IceQ X HD6950 2GB @£175

    or

    Zotac GTX560Ti 448 @£175

    If it helps, I'm planning on playing DiRT 3, Skyrim, Dead Rising 2, Battlefield 3, L4D2, Portal 2, etc

    To be honest, i was set on getting the 6950, but then I heard that the nvidia cards have a more consistent performance (some said because of 'better' drivers) and also that PhysX was possible...

    Again, I would really appreciate your input
  4. The 448 core is faster.

    AMD usually has more constant performance and nvidia is jumpy because only games with nvidia optimizations like physx do they win.

    Drivers are not an issue if you aren't doing crossfire/sli.
