Internet Mishap, Please Help!

A friend of mine recently attempted to set up a LAN connection between his and my computer and in doing so he says he had to change some settings. Once I disconnected my computer I found that it no longer connects to the internet. It still connects to the wireless router in my house but not to the internet. I'd ask my friend for help but he is away now and I really need access the internet from my home computer. Please Help.

Check your TCP/IP setup, make sure it's set to DHCP.
