I am a first time builder and I am new to the building game all togeather so if this question is a dumb I'm sorry but I have been looking all over the net and cant find an answer

My question is I have been looking at motherboards and processers and I have found two that i have been looking into the motherboard is a Intel desktop board DZ68ZV
and the CPU is a Intel core i3-2120 3.3GHz dual-core 65W LGA1155

I watched a video on youtube that showed all the ports on the motherboard but the video says that the Cpu socket is a LGA1555

I went to the Intel website and used there compatibility tool and it says that the motherboard and CPU are completely compatible but I want to make sure before I buy them

My question is can a LGA1155 CPU work with a LGA1555 motherboard socket

Please someone help me with this
a b à CPUs
a b V Motherboard

There is no such socket as LGA 1555 but a Z68 motherboard like that has socket 1155. There must have been a typo.

Yes, that mobo is compatible with any second-gen i3, 15, or i7.
