Hello everyone, i'm trying to build a desktop that would be able to play games like Diablo 3, Starcraft 2, Crysis 2, Battlefield 3, etc.. Also, I want this desktop to be "overclockable".


Approximate Purchase Date: This month or next month.

Budget Range: 900 - 1000

System Usage from Most to Least Important: gaming, watching movies, music, surfing the web.

Parts Not Required: Keyboard and mouse

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Tigerdirect.com

Country: Guam

Parts Preferences: by brand or type: Intel CPU, Modular PSU

Overclocking: Hell yeah.

SLI or Crossfire: No.

Monitor Resolution: 1920x1080

Additional Comments: I would like a monitor to go with this build.

gtx680 msi/zotac/asus for nice warranty unless you can make use of evga's lifetime.

or gtx570 from msi and gtx560ti 448core from msi too

sapphire hd 7970/7950 or 7850 or 7870 any of these would rock you.

since you got a fat budget already and you got most of the important parts, then just any 150$ 23" or 24" monitor

go with viewsonic,samsung,lg monitors so far those are the brands I use and all have great quality.

also get ASUS monitor they are good, I never used one but I've seen it on my friends house, it has good quality too.
