6870 question

Hey I just built a brandnew rig after many many many years.
I have a 560w psu
ASUS m5a97 mobo
amd 960t processor
4gb ram

I was wondering if the psu could power a 6870 or 560ti?
also if a 6870 2gb is worth the $50ish more than the 1gb model.

if you're running eyefinity then yes you'll want the 2gb version. if you're running a single monitor it really doesn't matter which card you go with. personal preference man, chevy vs ford.

The PSU can power 560Ti or 6870. If you don't have a multi monitor setup then buy 6870 with 1GB.

What's the exact model of your PSU ?
And I agree with opexx,If you're planing to play on very high resolutions,then go with the 2GB version,it's worth it

Exact model please? sometimes no name brand PSU said they have 450W but actually provide less than 300W.

Oh, you're fine, just good luck . It has 40A on the combined +12V rail. You better buy 560 ti or this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814127604 if you are running 1080p and you can buy them.
