Hi I would like to be building this PC by mid-June.
My budget range is anything less than 2400 US
I'll be using my sustem mostly for gaming then movies then surfing the net
Not sure what Folding@Home is but I require everything including mouse and keyboard maybe except monitor
Preferred website: either newegg.com - amazon.com
Country: India
Only Nvidia graphics card. And intel motherboard preferably - I leave the rest upto you, you're more experienced than I am, its my first build
Overclocking: Maybe
SLI: most likely not
monitor resolution: 1920X1080
additional comments: preferred quiet pc and definately one that can play games on ultra graphics for atleast a year :)

Parts assembled: - any advice is welcome and I'm open to changes as long as they dont increase the price too much

RAM - G.SKILL Ripjaws X series

[strike]Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't see a GPU up there.[/strike]

Never mind I see where you left it up to some more experienced folks.....

This is what I get for just skimming through it.

drop the H80 for a better air cooler.LCS are not worth the cost.they are too expensive and still stock fans are crap.i would suggest hyper 212 EVo,it's an excellent cooler-

for mobo, get asrock extreme3/gen3,it is a better deal for $120~

spending $200+ on gaming keyboard and mouse is a complete waste.if you want gaming keyboard and mouse then sidewinder X4 and G500 is a great pair-

antec 900 v3 maybe a good case but i would suggest 500r-

thank you so much!! . are you sure about the sidewinder x4 being a good keyboard? I would love SLI but I dont see how I can get that for under 2400. If you can help me, that would be brilliant!

Go with a good graphics card for now... then SLI at a later time (1-2 years). The PSU allows you plenty of headroom for anther card.

i like everything else. I prefer the thermaltake FRIO over the 212 Evo for cooling but thats personal preferance. its slightly quieter but not worth the price difference.

the SSD is only 28 gb. not much to do anything with... try and get that at least to 64gb, if not 128gb. windows alone will chew up more than 28gb.

The G500 is a great mouse... comes with weights to make it heavier or lighter. love it!
